The Metamora Association for Historic Preservation (MAHP) has been formed to foster awareness, preservation and development of Metamora’s rich history. Our vision is that once renovated, the Adlai E. Stevenson I  House will serve as a museum for Metamora memorabilia. This historic property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is recognized by the Central Illinois Landmarks Foundation

             MAHP was formed in September of 2000 and has a 501(c)(3) certificate and governing board.
